BBC Media Action India organised an event on 26th March 2019 to mark the successful transition of our mHealth services, Kilkari and Mobile Academy, to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and their partner ARMMAN. BBC Media Action India won the GSMA Award - a GLOMO Award - for Kilkari. This was in the category of Best Mobile Innovation for Women in Emerging Markets. Our competition was primarily mobile network operators from around the world. This is the second GSMA Global Award that we have won for our mobile work in India, the first award being for Mobile Kunji and Mobile Academy.
