  • IMMERSE

    Define_land

    This entails understanding context (social, cultural, economic, political), as well as what the intended beneficiaries of a program currently know, think, feel and do in the realm of the targeted behaviour. It also identifies key influencers.

  • DEFINE

    Empathise_land

    In this phase of the HCD process, the goal is to mine data collected in the ‘Immerse’ stage for insights into how social and behaviour change can be achieved.

  • IDEATE

    Ideate_large

    Based on the insights from the ‘define’ phase, focus is turned to generating and developing ideas for solutions.

  • PROTOTYPE

    Khoon Ka Rishta

    Functional requirements defined during the ‘ideate’ phase, including technical architecture, are fleshed out to design and build basic prototypes.

  • TEST

    Test_land

    The objective here is to learn quickly about what works for audiences and what doesn’t. The HCD process often requires revisiting the ideation stage multiple times.
